We believe in developing technically sound, well-rounded soccer players and teams that exemplify the highest character, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and a love for the game.

Club History

Established in 2010, as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation to provide soccer coaching to youth so that the youth players can learn life-lessons through soccer, stay active, build character and work with teammates learning sportsmanship, leadership and an overall work ethic which will lead them to be successful in the game of life.

About EFC

The founder of the Club is Dave Anderson who thought he would get involved to keep the memory of his father alive through soccer. With the experiences learned from his father and continuing soccer education courses the Club began to take shape. The Club began with the original team, a u12 Boys team and will graduate from EFC after the spring season in 2016.. In 2010, we added 3 teams in fall, then 6 in spring, then we had tryouts…..20 teams for fall 2012! Since then we have had 10 new teams each season join us and thrive. We grew fast to field 40+ teams in our young club and continued to grow every year. We then merged our club with another in 2017 and fielded 100 teams. The Club started to take on another identity and so Dave pulled back and decided to re-build from scratch in Daly City, focused on the community in which Dave grew up playing soccer in as a kid.

Club Philosophy

Our Club philosophy is to develop technically sound, well-rounded soccer players & teams that exemplify great character, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership and a love for the game.

Coaches

What I look for in a coach at EFC is not only a leader, but also a teacher. A coach can be many things to a player during their time together on the field. A teacher sets out to be an excellent role-model and someone who really wants to help the player achieve success in soccer and in life. I believe that EFC staff coaches take great pride in the player’s development and take a hollistic approach.

Soccer Objectives

As a club, we want to do right by the players and families we serve. So we look for ways to grow their soccer experience with EFC. Often times we rent extra fields, provide camps, extend opportunities into other leagues and offer personal training so that the player can meet their goals that they set out for themselves. We want each player to “Become Better and Change the Game.” We believe that they will excel when they see the opportunities that are out there. For example, traveling the world, getting a college scholarship, becoming a professional player, or simply learning that you need to do the work to be successful in whatever you do.
